ANTHONY JOSHUA

ANTHONY JOSHUA WON’T BE AT RINGSIDE

TO WATCH FURY, WILDER BIG FIGHT

                                                         Britain’s Anthony Joshua

‘I would love to experience what women go through’

Anthony Joshua has revealed why he will miss the huge fight between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder, which will shape the next phase of his career.Unified heavyweight champion Joshua is desperate to face American Wilder, who defends his WBC title against Fury in Los Angeles on December 1.
If Wilder successfully overcomes Fury, it could set up a potential blockbuster showdown between the rival belt holders. However, if Fury wins and a rematch clause kicks in Joshua may well have to look elsewhere for his next opponent.
Joshua will not be watching the bout, however. He explained: ‘Unfortunately the fight’s on too early for me, so I’ll be sleeping, but I enjoy watching the highlights.‘I need Wilder to win, and that way it gives me more of an opportunity to fight him, because as a champion, if he retains his belt. I think that’s the fight people have been yearning for.’
Meanwhile, boxer Deontay Wilder has admitted he would love to carry a child if scientists ever invent a procedure that would allow that to happen.Bruiser Wilder has knocked out 39 of his opponents during a glittering boxing career, but called women the ‘most powerful thing on earth’ and that he would love to experience pregnancy and child birth.
Wilder, 33, has seven children, including daughter Naieya, 13, who suffers from spina bifada, and is a true family man, focusing on them outside of boxing. He calls himself a ‘mother goose’ and ahead of his huge fight with Tyson Fury on Saturday night in Los Angeles, when Wilder puts his WBC heavyweight title on the line, the American is disappointed that the public do not see his softer side.
‘If they ever invent something that will allow a man to carry a child, I want to sign up for it,’ Wilder told The Telegraph.‘I really do. I would say to my girl: “Let’s have a baby, and I’ll carry it”. I would love to experience what women go through to bring life into this world.‘That’s why women are the most powerful thing on the earth. When we’ve got people who bleed for seven days every month… come on, man!
‘But I really feel I’m the mother goose. I kiss my kids six or seven times a day. They are all individuals. I love them.’
He continued: ‘I wish people could see this side of me more often. My world is amazing. I don’t let certain things get to me and I let people assume about me.
‘But as long as I’m civilised and can balance between being a fighter and a father, then I’m fine.’There has been plenty of bad blood between Wilder and Fury in the build up to the fight, when both boxers put their unbeaten career records on the line.

Prince Harry and wife, Meghan Markle
They’ve grown up extremely close and played the role of best man at each other’s weddings, but it seems things may not be going so smoothly between the royal princes right now.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently decided to move away from their Kensington Palace neighbors, Prince William and Kate Middleton — and according to a friend of the royals, it may be because of trouble between the two couples.
According to a palace source, Meghan and Kate aren’t as close as we thought, and it’s starting to cause tension between the brothers.
“Kate and Meghan are very different people,” the source told the Daily Mail. “They don’t really get on.”
The palace confirmed that Harry and Meghan are moving to Frogmore Cottage (where they held their wedding reception) on the Windsor Estate early next year as they prepare for the arrival of their first child.
The new home  is said to need major work to be fit for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, with plans reportedly to include 10 bedrooms, a new nursery, a gym and a yoga studio.
Harry and Meghan, who currently live in a small cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace, always planned to upsize, but it was thought they would occupy another palace unit the size of the one Kate and William live in.
“The initial plan was for Harry and Meghan to move out of their cottage in the grounds of Kensington Palace and into one of the main apartments,” a royal source told The Sun. “But there has been a bit of tension between the brothers.”

NIGERIA PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE

ATTEND PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE – APC CHIEFTAIN TELLS BUHARI

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano, Atiku Ahmad-Dungurawa has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to attend the proposed presidential debate.
NAN reports that Ahmad-Dungurawa, the Coordinator, Door-To-Door Campaign for Buhari/Ganduje, made the call while addressing a news conference in Kano on Tuesday.
According to him, Buhari has achieved a lot, especially in the area of infrastructural development, security, economy and above all, the fight against corruption.
He said the debate would give Buhari the opportunity to inform Nigerians about the achievements his administration had recorded as well as clear areas of misconception about his government.
“I am really in support that Buhari should participate in the presidential debate in view of the fact that he has achieved a lot, especially on infrastructure development in the country.’’
Ahmad-Dungurawa said that due to adequate measures being taken by the Buhari-led administration, the security situation had improved and the economy stabilised.
“Between 2011 and 2015, the security situation in the entire Northeast was terrible but now there are a lot socio-economic activities going on in the region as a result of the improvement on security,’’ he said.
Ahmad-Dungurawa expressed optimism that Buhari would floor the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar because according to him Buhari has been able to fulfil the promises he made to Nigerians during his electioneering campaign in 2015.
He urged Nigerians irrespective of their political and religious inclination to support Buhari’s re-election bid to enable him consolidate on the achievements recorded in order to take the country to greater heights.
He commended the President for reviewing upward the salary of Police personnel, saying the gesture would go a long way in boosting their morale.
